Site Setting out

We’ll upload your .DXF file onto our Leika GIS and take it from there!
Using the latest range Leika GIS systems, our Setting-out Engineering teams move efficiently across the site as we
laid-out the pile locations accurately ahead of our Pile driving teams, utilising our twin Rambo 500 Piling machines.
Our Engineering Team accuracy was recently demonstrated in providing pile locations on our recent 3.5MWp Coca-cola, Ballina Phase 2 project. We were given a three week program to drive the piles, but we did it in a record 6 x 12 hour days time scale, allowing the Frame assembly teams commence works two weeks ahead of program, in the glorious Mayo sunshine last August 2025.

Quality Controlled Frame assembly systems

Have your tables components QAQC approved by our team up to Final Torquing with results double checked and recorded by Site management prior to module installation. Along with demonstrating best work practices to your team and Site Manager, the tables are being structurally approved ahead of the Module installation and DC cabling, the final two elements of our Quality Control.
Along with visual inspections of installed modules, the clamps can be checked showing uniform gaps between lines of modules, as well as the correct torque achieved in the clamps.
Finally we install the DC Cabling, using approved DC cable management tasks, skills that assure the DC cables are affixed to the tables assuring that there can be no wear and tear between the cable sheaths and the substructure of the tables, the containment that the cables and Inverters are mounted to.
RISO as well as DC electrical string testing is carried out to demonstrate the desired current and resistance results are achieved, prior to energisation.
Frame Construction Stage
From initial 'Setting-out' of the extremities of the site, to checking by tape measurement of randomly chosen pile locations, spot-check levelling the table pitch of the rafters, Torque wrench testing of each nut and bolt of frame assembly, checking components for plumb level, each table is assembled correctly and has the QAQC paperwork monitored by the Clients agent assuring them that Torquing and all inspections are carried out prior to the mounting of the modules.

Module installation stage
Module installation requires a visual test of the panel prior to use.
This identifies Microcracking or any delivery damage prior to use. Damaged modules are identified by barcode reader, recorded and isolated from the works area, for client review.
Modules are then laid in correct orientation for daisy chaining the MC4 connectors. Spacing of modules as per manufacturers instructions, with the clamps torqued as specified, and these details recorded on test report sheets and countersigned by the clients agent on site.

DC Cabling to String Inverter
Cables are loaded on remote controlled Mechanical Drumrollers mounted on the teleporters to enable efficient roll out of strings, making long runs of cabling more manageable for the operatives.

Drone footage

Weekly drone recording allows up to date site progress review. This Mpeg file can be uploaded to 'Procore'
A picture tells a thousand words !
A drone recording can provide our clients with invaluable precise visualisation of progress on Site.
By giving our client a regular visual update of site, it provides a positive reinforcement for staff and Contractors alike when they can see their project develop before their eyes, all from the comfort of their Desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile device.
We are very comfortable with using 'Procore' and  have used it as a portal to upload our drone recordings and stills for our clients - it could be used later to review different closing dates, construction delays, or something else. Regardless of the needs, we’ll find your solution, in the library of drone recordings.
