Recent Projects
We are currently completing 8.5Mw Solar installation for Coca-cola / Astatine in Ballina, Co. Mayo.
The project was delivered in two Phases 5Mw and 3.5 Mw.
Using our Twin Rambo Piling machines we were able to install the 3.5MW of Piles in 5 Days.
We are also currently completing a 2MW Solar Farm for Laois Sawmills / IrePower in Port Laois
Piling Machinery
We are the proud owners of Irish built Rambo 500 Piling machines built by Dennis Doyle Ltd in Co. Kildare.
Although the machines are proving very efficient and reliable, we have the Peace of mind that Dennis can service the units within hours, guaranteeing continuity of service to our clients
Pull out Testing
We arrive to site with our Piling machine and either a
4 Ton or 15 Ton Kolbelco digger. A 900ltr water bowser is provided if waterlogged tests are required. The piles are driven as specified, to the required depths. Using our certified calibrated pull-out test equipment we extract the piles and record the results.
The results will be the basis out our Pull-out test reports issued directly to the client. Soil samples removed from inside the extracted piles can be retained and sent to the client
Quality Controlled Frame assembly
Using the Manufactures layout the Solar tables are constructed as per Manufacturers specifications.
These assembly operations are constantly being monitored by QAQC control within the company.
Reports on each table identify the correct installation of components e.g level uprights, Rafters at specific angles, Rafters lined in along the table length to confirm level tables. Nuts and bolt torqued and marked up, Module clamps torqued to manufacturers correct tolerance
ABOUT US
Using our twin Rambo 500 Piling machines we get through an average 500-600 piles imbedded each day. The success of this claim is wholly dependant on the ground conditions we are give to pile in. In this instance in Ballina, Co. Mayo we piled 3.5 MW of piles in five ten hour days.
We provide the full package!!
We arrive on site with our own Manitou for off-loading materials. Bobcats are then used for site distribution of materials throughout site making sure that the Manitou is the only machine travelling on the roadway, leaving a clean site where all materials are offloaded at the stoned roadway/ Turning circles, keeping the Bobcats with their mucky tracks on the field site, and not on the clean stoned roadways.
Setting out is done using the latest Leica GPS by our own engineers.
Piling is done by our own Denis Doyle trained and certified Piler Operators
Quality Control of the sub-structure assembly crew is monitored at all stages, assuring efficient installation of the modules.
DC cabling and ducting is installed by our in-house electrical crew. The Inverters are mounted on their frames and the MC4's fitted to the strings, leaving the inverters ready for energisation.
Additional services provided!
Where required we provide the AC cabling and ducting from the inverters to the Transformers leaving the LV and MV contractors responsible for flooding the traffos, energising the site, providing the client with the AC power to their factory
